AFP National: Internet Guides

In response to the tremendous interest and number of inquiries about Internet services, the Association of Fundraising Professionals is pleased to announce the release of the AFP Internet Transaction Guidelines. The guidelines provide 22 principles for the AFP members and others to follow as they consider transaction models with third party, Internet-based service providers. These guidelines were developed by AFP's Internet Solicitations Task Force, and while they focus on issues relating to the use of an Internet-based service provider, many guidelines are relevant for a charity creating its own site. The guidelines are available at AFP National in the Government Relations section.
